Taking place at Bedford Autodrome on 29th, 30th and 31st October, the Ginetta Junior Scholarship offers youngsters the chance to win a fully-funded season in the 2013 Ginetta Junior Championship, worth £40,000.This year’s winner will be decided over two rounds – ‘qualification’ and ‘final’ – the first which will see drivers attend one of two assessment days (29/30 October) before 20 drivers will be invited to join Ginetta in the final (31 October) completely free of charge.
Drivers will be put through two days of assessment;
1. Qualification Round – 29-30 October
(*drivers will only be required to attend one of these dates)

- - Media assessment
- - Fitness Test
2. The Final – 31 October
Out of the participants, those who are successful in the Qualification Round will be invited to attend the final stage of this experience free of charge. The final will involve:

Previous winners include current Ginetta Junior Championship drivers Sennan Fielding and Oliver Basey-Fisher, who have both enjoyed podium places so far this season, with Sennan Fielding currently proving a serious title contender.
The Ginetta Junior Championship is the UK’s highest profile series for young drivers wanting to cut their teeth in the high-octane world of motorsport. Supporting the famous British Touring Car Championship and offering massive television exposure on ITV, the series is a genuine avenue into top level racing including Formula One and 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The Ginetta G40 Junior championship car is aimed at aspiring young racing drivers between the ages of 14-17, who need to make the step into car racing. The G40 Junior comes equipped with Ford’s 1800cc Zetec SE power unit giving out 101 BHP, featuring a six-speed sequential gearbox and a quaife ATB differential and Michelin Pilot Cup Tyres.
Safety too is a prime concern, the G40 Junior exceeding all officially required safety standards, including an FIA safety cage and safety cell.
